Hand dyed with love in Brooklyn, NY.

This towel is part of a dead stock color run using synthetic dyes. Since these are not a natural or botanical dye and no longer fit  the vision for the shop, they are being sold at a discounted rate to make room for more natural dyed alternatives.

These tea towels are perfect for every day use or special occasions.

-Use them for placemats or table linens

-Drying dishes, or as an everyday hand towel in the kitchen or bathroom.

-Proofing dough or covering food short term

-Sustainable gift wrap / Furoshiki

-They could also double as large cotton bandanas, sustainable gift wrap, or a plastic free lunch wrap for your commute

These towels only get better with age...Over time they soften from continued use and washing, and will become more absorbent.

TAKE CARE:

While natural dyes do have special care needs to best preserve color, these towels are meant to be used daily.

Wash in cool water with an eco-friendly detergent (try Dropps!) and tumble dry low. Use a hot iron if needed.

NITTY GRITTY DETAILS:

These are made of 100% unbleached cotton in a thick gauze fabric. Each towel measures approximately 28 x 32”, these are a nice big size for any use! Towel hook loop NOT included. Price is per towel. Colors may vary slightly with different screen settings.

LOOK GOOD, DO GOOD:

Most paper towels and napkins are made from virgin paper- This means no recycled content is used to make a product that is used once and tossed out. These towels can completely replace single use paper products in your home. When they become too stained or worn in for decorative use, please continue to use them to clean your home or up-cycle them into something else. A little water mixed with vinegar and a drop of essential oil is all you need to clean many surfaces with a tea towel!
