Every piece is truly one of a kind.
Naturally dyed with hibiscus flowers and buckthorn berries. Color is a bright chartreuse yellow/green dot with flecks of blue and turquoise.
Each bandana is approximately 21 x 21". This is large enough to wrap around the neck once, or twice around the wrist, handbag or hairstyle.
PLEASE NOTE BEFORE PURCHASING:
Natural and botanical dyes are derived from once living matter and therefore are subject to evolve over time. This is part of the beauty of natural dyes, and if well cared for these changes can be minimized.
SUGGESTED CARE:
-Spot clean carefully as needed, only in affected area. To best preserve color while cleaning, use a pH neutral soap like woolite and rinse with cool water, hang dry only. Do not use bleach or detergents.
-If the material wrinkles, the best method is to hang it up in a humid room (like the bathroom while the shower is running) and the wrinkles should release on their own. If they persist, a medium temp iron or a gentle steamer will work.
-Avoid allowing the material to come in contact with anything acidic (citrus, vinegar, wine, perfume etc) as this will potentially shift the colors.
-Store away from direct sunlight to avoid fading over time. It’s best to store scarves loosely rolled vs folded so they don’t develop hard creases.
-Don’t let the fussiness of silk scare you off :) These are made of a soft, durable fabric that will only get better with time if well taken care of. They are machine hemmed, which tends to help them last longer. Quality materials and construction are top priorities for all items in the shop.
Lastly, I do my best to capture the true colors and brilliance of each item. However with different screen settings and lighting, color may appear slightly different- I think you’ll find the colors are even more vibrant in person!
